BDO Ireland is currently seeking a HR Intern for our Work Placement programme.
As a HR Intern at BDO Ireland, you will play a crucial role in our HR Team, serving as a point of contact for over 500 professionals in our Dublin, Limerick, and Cork offices. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of HR tasks and administration, including contract drafting, supporting employee onboarding and everything in between. Key Responsibilities

- Provide advice to staff on HR policies & procedures.
- Act as a first point of contact for employee queries
- Support with onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Provide administrative support as required.
- Work as part of the wider HR team on initiatives and projects
- Forming and maintaining employee records
- Updating internal databases
- Preparing HR documents, such as employment contracts, salary certificates and employment letters
- HR metrics reporting
- Assisting with payroll preparation
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Current college student studying a business-related discipline.
- Some work experience in a business environment would be an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail is a key attribute of this role
- Strong IT/Microsoft Office Skills e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to deal with and prioritise multiple tasks
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
