Job Summary
Having created a name for themselves in and around South Africa, our client provides premium services to Landlords and tenants at all levels and sectors. One of their most established product lines is Facilities Management, where they have offered advisory, hard services, soft services, project management and asset management separately for many years but which they have recently structured in order to offer the integrated solutions. They are looking for a Managing Director that will be reporting directly to the Cluster COO. The core function of this role is to maintain and grow the division via your 4 Heads of Department, as well as provide strategic management and ensure business profitability day to day.Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Establish and implement policies and procedures
- Financial Management and reporting thereof
- Preparing business plans
- Providing monthly comprehensive reports
- Staff management and development
- Stakeholder relationship management
- Assisting COO with strategizing
To be considered for this role you will need:
- MBA/MSc
- A minimum of 4 years at an Executive level
- 5 years of experience managing Integrated Facilities department or company
- Experience managing national contracts
- Ability to implement new solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills
