Accountant - Logistics Industry [United Arab Emirates]


 

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Prepares Financial Statements and related lead schedules for Internal reports & External Audits

2. Liaise with Auditors during yearly External Audits

3. Responsible for the preparation, filing, payment & review of VAT related returns

4. To monitor compliance with FTA & Banks

5. Manage FTA portal of the Group

6. Handles Accounts Receivables and collection from Customers

7. Prepares Monthly Bank Reconciliation

8. Handles Guarantee applications and renewals

9. Prepares Customer invoicing for Abu Dhabi.

10.Prepares Petty Cash vouchers

11.Duplicate functions of colleague on annual leave

12.Other functions that maybe assigned from time to time

Qualification

1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in finance and accounting (Mandatory)

2. Qualified Accountant - CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, preferred

3. Minimum of 3 years' experience working in UAE under Logistics Company

4. Working knowledge of UAE VAT requirements

5. Has background or basic knowledge on Bank Guarantees / Letters of Credits

6. Experienced in general bookkeeping

7. With background on Corporate Tax

8. Experienced in MS Office esp. Excel

Remuneration:

AED 5000 + Health Insurance + Gen Accident Insurance + 22 working days annual leave + Five day week work environment + Annual air-ticket to home country + all other expat benefits as per MOHRE

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED4,500.00 per month
