ProSource are seeking a highly motivated and talented Graduate Construction Manager on behalf of our client who specialise in steel building component's.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates in construction management or a related field to gain valuable experience and develop their skills in the dynamic and challenging construction industry.
Your main duties will include, but not be limited to;
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects under the guidance of senior construction managers.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Site Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and address any issues or challenges that arise during construction.
- Ensure construction activities comply with industry standards and regulations, as well as company quality assurance guidelines. Conduct inspections to verify workmanship and project compliance.
- Assist in tracking project budgets, costs, and expenses. Contribute to the preparation of project estimates and budgets.
- Assist in developing and updating project schedules. Monitor construction progress and identify potential delays or risks, proposing mitigation strategies when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and communication logs. Assist in preparing progress reports for stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred
- Setting out experience is an advantage
- Prior internship or work experience in the construction industry an advantage
